This Privacy Policy is issued by Shenzhen Longwa Software Co., Ltd. ("we" or "us") and applies to the Weiwa App ("the App"). We comply with China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law, and the Regulations on the Protection of Children's Personal Information Online.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: Phone number and email address, used for registration, login, and account recovery.
- Child information (sensitive personal data): Child's nickname, date of birth, gender; photos, videos, and growth records you upload (including height, weight, and other health data).
- Usage data: Device model, operating system version, app logs, and feature preferences.
- Payment information: Processed by third-party payment platforms; we do not store full payment card numbers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Providing core services (age-based plans, growth records, parenting knowledge, curated products) — contract performance
- Account security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests
- Improving product features and user experience — your consent
- Complying with legal obligations — legal requirement
4. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for adults aged 18 or older who are the parent or legal guardian of the registered child. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement.
Information related to children is used solely to provide the core services and is never used for targeted advertising or commercial data analytics. You may access, correct, or delete your child's information at any time by contacting privacy@weiwa.cn.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Your personal information is stored on servers within the People's Republic of China and is not transferred abroad. Data is retained for the duration of your active account. Upon account deletion, we will remove or anonymize your data within 30 business days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only in the following cases:
- With technical service providers necessary for delivery of the service (cloud storage, push notifications, analytics); they are required to use data only within the scope of their service;
- When required by law or a lawful request from a judicial authority;
- With your explicit consent.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information, withdraw your consent, and obtain a copy of your data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@weiwa.cn. We will respond within 15 business days.
8. Security
We protect your information using HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, encrypted data storage, and strict access controls. In the event of a data security incident we will notify you promptly and take corrective action as required by law.
9. Cookies and Tracking
The App uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions, remember preferences, and gather anonymous usage statistics. You can manage cookies through your device settings; disabling them may affect certain features.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this policy in response to legal changes or product changes. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notifications. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
